Brač Film Festival is an international feature film festival for emerging filmmakers from Europe and the Mediterranean. Founded in 2015, the festival's key goals are the promotion of first-time feature film directors, presentation of short student films, development of film literacy among children and youth, and connecting young film professionals with experienced ones.
Set on the Island of Brač — afloat in the Mediterranean, the historical center of the world — BFF sits at a crossroads of cultures, languages and peoples. A young and dynamic festival, it continues to build bridges between cultures, generations and places. Audience-based, youth-friendly, and quality-focused, BFF is interested in fostering the creative growth of developing artists.
Since its first edition, BFF has been recognised as a meeting point for young filmmakers from across the region. We are grateful for the experienced industry professionals who have come to support the festival and connect with emerging filmmakers — from Academy Award winner Sir Christopher Hampton to acclaimed directors, actors and producers from across the region.
